Steel

Steel is a vital resource in our daily lives, being used in almost every major industry. The demand for steel will dramatically increase in the next 25 years both domestically and internationally. Yet current production is not suited to meet the coming global demand. As we stand at the intersection of legacy practices and industrial progress, our processes are poised to revolutionize the way we produce steel.

Chemicals

Similar to steel, chemical demand will also dramatically increase in the coming years. To fill this need, we produce e-Methanol, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, and Ammonia. Thanks to our experience in hydrogen production, we use hydrogen, split out from water using sustainable electricity, as the main building block to produce these much-needed chemicals that will help industry's needs now and in the future.

Steel is the foundation of our society, yet today it is produced through antiquated processes.

In an era where AI and modernization are essential, the demand for steel production using hydrogen represents a significant stride towards faster and more efficient steel production. This modernization is the Protio process.

We are targeting 5 million tons of steel produced a year and over 1.5GW of electrolysis capacity by 2030
